Hmmm

I am super hungry. I should go to bed and skip that late late night snack.

Spooky Boo got a new outfit. This is her Easter dress, cute huh!!! Yeah I know, money is tight, but I had to have it. How could you turn something this cute down?!?! PS, it is a little too big, but I think she is still growing. And yes, she hates it.

One more thing...

I am watching Ghost Hunters, and it is freaking RAD!!! Wednesday is my favorite day because of them!!!

I felt good today.

It has been a long time since I have felt good, but today I did. It was a nice change to have a day where I could get up and do something. Bella has been "just weird" too. She has also had zero energy, and very cuddly. I am starting to think there is something in the house making us feel this way. The in-laws say that it may be the heater filter. It has been a while since we have cleaned it out, so I will nag the husband until he gets it done this coming weekend.

I almost wonder, too, if it is all in my head. I look around and all I see is dirt. The house is trashed in my eyes. I think, I should clean "fill in the blank", but in order to clean that I have to do this, and that ect. I am over whelmed. Where to even start. I thought getting Spencer's new room would be a good spot, but that is the freaking project that will never end. I just look forward to the day that we get all the bed rooms done.

On a happier note, I had a second ultra sound (Doctors orders, not my idea), and it is for sure a boy. I have come up with some clothes. I guess my mom has come up with some trash bags full of clothes from co-workers. That is super rad. I can not wait to get my hands on them and see how cute they are. I have some really really cute ideas for Jack's room, and can not wait to get started on it. All in due time though. I am not going to go crazy with his room, but I will be doing really cute things. The one special thing I have thought of doing (should not be to crazy for me to do too) is to paint a lighthouse on the wall. Nothing to ornate, just a basic shape. I also thought of a really cute idea, putting mason jars full of sand and shells on the shelf in there. Too cute. I want to the room to feel like you are going to a Washington beach. Not sure what I am going to do with the bedding yet, think I may talk my mother-in-law into quilting something up for me. Again, all in due time.

Weird times

So, it all started with shingles. It took over a week to get the pain under control, but it looks like the shingles are a thing of the past. Thank God. Just when I thought life would get back to normal, I started puking. Oh yeah, at work (Sunday) the day I finally went back. That sucked, but by Wednesday I was fine (aka my Monday). Then the next Sunday came, and I puked again. This time I did it at home. I decided I was going to be ok, so I went to work, but ended up pulling over about 1/2 mile from work and tossing my cookies again. John had to come get me. What is up with all the chucking?!?! By Sunday night, I felt better, but had come down with a fever. I was sore from the chucking on Monday, and it only made it worse that I started coughing. By Tuesday night I was sick with a really bad cold, that has now turned into a freaking sinus infection!!! The good news is the fever has gone for now. It is really hard to find the energy to be a working, pregnant, mother of 2 when you have a fever. I have gotten nothing done in the last 2 weeks, and that sucks. I just have no energy, and it seems to not be getting any better. I would take the stupid prenatal vitamins, but they make me sick. I am thinking of going and getting some children's vitamins, maybe they will stay down.

Anyway, it should go without saying, I have not gotten Spencer's new room done yet. All I have to do is paint the base board, and hang the trim (that I have not purchased yet!!) and I am done. Seems that it is easy to do, but again, I have been so under the freaking weather. The way I see it, I can not possibly get any other random illness. Right?

Is a change in the air?

So I have been putting some real thought into what I should be. I love working at The Home Depot, but I am 31, and it is time for me to be what I want to be. I can not go through life just being. I need more than that. I need to be something that makes people proud. After much thought, I think I have come up with what will make me happy, or at least I hope it will make me happy. I just worry about my age, weight and time left. I am 5 months pregnant, and fat. I need to be in shape to be what I want to be, and for me to do that, I need a year. That is 5 months to be pregnant, and 6 months to work on getting healthy.

Here's the thing, I work just under 30 hours a week, more like 25. I only bring home $700 a month. That is just not enough. I don't ask for millions of dollars, I just want to be a mother of 3, in a nice home, with decent cars, and decent clothes. Even if those decent clothing come from Walmart, I am ok with that. I want vacations with my kids, and to not have to hear Spencer say "I know we don't have any money...". Gosh, I never knew how often I said that, until he started repeating me. That is sad. I want to retire some day, and that is just not going to happen if we keep this up. I need to start my career, and stop working at my job. I want to help my husband pay the bills. How freaking rad would it be to make more money than him!! I don't know that I have ever done that.

I just feel like I have to hurry up and wait around. Is there always going to be something that stops me from doing what I should be doing? And by that, I mean will I always stop myself?

In the market

If there is anyone out there that knows someone that is getting rid of baby boy clothes, I need to meet them. I did not save an ounce of clothing from Spencer, and now I am in NEED of some. Jackson is going to be born in the hottest part of the year, so summer newborn clothes, and 0-3 and 3-6 month fall-winter clothes are best for us. We don't really need anything else, just clothes. I have a ton of chairs, beds and things to put him in, we just need clothes (and diapers too!!!).
